Geo-urbanism is the marriage of geopolitical reality with the dynamics of cities, the urban spaces that are at once both the largest and smallest units of humanity’s social organization. This column explores the notion that cities are the base upon which we organize and build counties, provinces, states and ultimately the nation-state of the interconnected global system.
